论文简介: This paper reprents two types of fully discrete Galerkin algorithm andnonlinear Galerkin algorithm with variable time steps for solvingnumerically nonlinear evolution equations, in which spatialdiscretization is made by spectral functions and finite elements; timeis done by the Euler explicit difference scheme with the first orderaccuracy and two-step semi-implicit difference scheme with the secondorder accuracy. According to the stability analysis, we find that forthe Euler difference scheme and two-step difference scheme on timediscretization the stability of the fully discrete nonlinear Galerkinalgorithms is superior to ones of the fully discrete Galerkinalgorithms. Finally, our numerical test also shows this fact.
