Young-Bae Kim教授简介：
Prof. Young-Bae Kim
He received the B.S. degree in Mechanical Design from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1980, the M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Seoul, Korea, in 1982, and the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA, in 1990.
Before involving in education profession, he had a rich industrial working experience. He served as Researcher and Chief Researcher in Samsung Heavy Industries (1982-1986) and Samsung Advanced Research Institute Chief Researcher (1991-1993), respectively. In 1993, he joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Chonnam National University, Gwangju, Korea, where he became a Professor in 2004. His interests include magnetic bearing control, automotive suspension control, and fuel cell power and control. He is a Member of IEEE, Vice Chairman of Korean Society of Automotive Engineers in Honam Region (2011-Present), Vice Chairman of Korean Society of Mechanical Engineering in Honam Region (2012-Present). He is an active professional research in his areas, where he has been invited to referee more than 20 SCI publications, such as Appl. Energy, J. Power Sources, IEEE/ASME Trans. Mechatron., etc, and served as Guest Editor for Int. J. Hydrogen Energy.
Dr. Kim received the Best Research Award from Chonnam National University in 2010.
