论文简介: The effects of injection pressure and ambient gas pressure on spray characteristics of ethanol-fatty acid methyl ester blends were investigated experimentally and the effects of fuel and ambient gas temperature were numerically simulated. Experiments show that with the increase of injection pressure,spray penetration distance of FAME/E is increased with average difference of penetration of 16.98% and maximum difference of penetration of 39.70%. Penetration distance decreases by 2.95% when fuel temperature increases from 300,K to 360,K. The effects of ambient gas temperature on spray penetration distance are apparent. When fuel temperature increases from 300,K to 360,K,the averaged sauter mean diameter(SMD)decreases from 15.14,μm to 10.09,μm. Furthermore,when ambient gas temperature increases from 300,K to 500,K,the averaged SMD increases from 15.14,μm to 22.74,μm.
